FACTORY FOR INDUSTRIAL PAINTING AND RELATED PROCESSING ACTIVITIES
PREMISE
This report falls within the field of environmental acoustics and is based on Law No. 447 of October 26, 1995, "Framework Law on Noise Pollution." This law aims to establish "the fundamental principles for the protection of the external environment and the living environment from noise pollution, pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 117 of the Constitution" (Article 1, paragraph 1, Law 447/95). It also defines and outlines the responsibilities of both public bodies responsible for regulation, planning, and control, and public and/or private entities that may directly or indirectly cause noise pollution.
Noise pollution is in fact defined as "the introduction of noise into the living environment or the external environment that causes annoyance or disturbance to rest and human activities, danger to human health, deterioration of the ecosystem, material assets, monuments, the living environment or the external environment, or that interferes with the legitimate use of the environments themselves" (art. 2, paragraph 1, letter a), Law 447/95).
To this end, the activities related to the operation of the ZAMA plant of Zuddas Annie Maria Antonia in Villanuova sul Clisi (BS), without prejudice to any legal requirements, must meet the requirements for protection from noise pollution.
SCOPE
ACOUSTIC IMPACT ASSESSMENT
pursuant to art. 8 of Law 447/95 and Regional Law of Lombardy n. 13/2001
The purpose of this report is to assess the environmental noise impact generated by the ZAMA plant of Zuddas Annie Maria Antonia, specializing in industrial painting, metal treatment and coating, located at Via Legnago, 47 in the Municipality of Villanuova sul Clisi (BS) in the eastern part of the Province of Brescia.
The values found at the plant will be compared with the limits imposed by current legislation in the municipal area regarding noise pollution and can be used to determine the most appropriate choices in relation to containing environmental noise levels within these limits.
